Located in Angier, a short 30-minute drive from downtown Raleigh, Barclay Villa is a dream venue. There are many lovely places to take photos on the grounds of this classic 100+ year-old chateau-style mansion. Two locations are available for services and reception, the Mansion itself, and the Banquet Hall. This venue can accommodate 200 guests either indoors or outdoors. A Bridal Suite, tables, chairs, and set up are included in the package.

The Grand Marquise Ballroom
Sophistication and style await you at the Grand Marquise Ballroom. I love private photos of the wedding party taken in beautifully appointed his and her areas of the mezzanine balcony, while the grand staircase, marble accents, and crystal chandeliers make every picture a stand out. Up to 400 guests can enjoy an indoor or outdoor ceremony and reception. Tables, chairs, glassware, audio and lighting equipment, and even the dance floor are included. Tents are available if rain is in the forecast and you want to enjoy an outdoor event.
The Hall & Gardens at Landmark
The Hall & Gardens at Landmark has one of the most stunning outdoor garden spaces I’ve ever seen! An enormous fountain, imposing wrought iron gates, and an intimate gazebo top the list of my favorite places at this venue. They look incredible during daytime or nighttime shots. The classic Federal-style house with dormer windows and columns lends a nice backdrop, and the lovely Grand Ballroom is a good alternative if an outdoor event isn’t in the cards.
Up to 240 of your nearest and dearest can be seated comfortably. All-inclusive catering and wedding packages are available, and set up, clean up, tables, chairs, and linens are included in the basic price.

The Mayton Inn
The Mayton Inn combines the charm of a country inn with the class of a city club. As a photographer, I love the many options this venue gives us. The library is all dark wood and scotch, while the ballrooms sparkle with lighter tones, clean lines, and high ceilings. Large windows let in natural light by day, and candlelight can be enjoyed at night. Full-service packages are available, and include full use of the inn – 45 guest rooms which can host up to 110 people! This option also includes a gourmet breakfast for your guests.
