Prestonwood Country Club Wedding Reception
Complete with insights from the bride!
Ose + Erika
July 15, 2017
We met at UNC-Greensboro. We took a math class together and studied for the final exam together
Ose brought Erika to UNCG for what he said was an alumni event. They walked through the campus taking a trip down memory lane and then Ose proposed in front of the music building which we agreed is the most beautiful building on campus.
Describe your wedding dress. What was wedding shopping like for you?
My wedding dress was mermaid style, it was classy and romantic. Just my mom and I went shopping for my dress, it was actually pretty simple the dress I picked was only the 3rd dress I tried on.
Michael Kors shoes, they were strapped, sparkly and gold. I wore gold necklace, earrings and hair clip. My mom let me borrow her diamond bracelet with gold accents.
Makeup was by Amber Harper, she also went to UNCG.
I had 6 bridesmaids, 2 of my bridesmaids are Ose’s 2 sisters, Benita and Megan. My Maid of Honor, Lindsey, and 3 of my bridesmaids, Sami, Christine, and Krista are my sorors, we are members of Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc.
Ose had 6 groomsmen, 2 of his groomsmen are my brothers, Dan and Chris. He also has his brother Ardi, his cousin Joelle, his friend Jerry and his best man is his best friend Ben.

Prestonwood is so classic and beautiful, the minute we walked into the grand ballroom we knew it was the right place. It’s absolutely gorgeous.
Before the reception began, Ose and I were by ourselves behind a curtain before our grand entrance for about 5 minutes. We actually took a few selfies, smiled, laughed and got to be totally alone for a little bit.
Classic/romantic with raspberry, navy & gold
Our flowers were from the Flower Cupboard. They were a mix of raspberry, to match the bridesmaid dresses, and various shades of purple and a little navy, to match the groomsmen.
