Class and style collided for Travis + Juliann’s City Club Raleigh wedding (previously the Cardinal Club) in downtown Raleigh. You may recall this couple from their American Tobacco Campus engagement photography session. At that time they had traveled in from Georgia in planning their day of celebration. But today their wedding planning was coming to fruition, and what a beautiful day it was. They laughed, they cried, they partied, they took some awesome wedding day photos and then they partied some more!
City Club Raleigh Wedding
And now some insights from the bride!
How / why did you choose your ceremony venue?
We chose our wedding venue because we wanted something different. The City Club Raleigh, gave us that “city feel” with glamour and elegance.
Was there any particular theme or style for your wedding?
The style of my wedding was very elegant and glamorous with bold fall colors and bling of course!
Tell us about your flowers …
My flowers were absolutely gorgeous!! The bold colors of the reds, plums, oranges etc. really stood out against myself and bridesmaids gowns!!! I loved the bling around my bouquet.
And your gown …
I knew I wanted something very different and unique, sexy and dramatic! I wanted something that would fit my personality. It was a mermaid fit with a beaded lace bodice. I added a cathedral veil to give it that extra drama I was looking for. I felt stunning in my gown!
And your shoes (and jewelry)…
I am a HUGE shoe fan! My shoes were Badgley Mishcka
And your cake …
THE CAKE…I didn’t want to cut it! Again, different and unique was what I wanted and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the end result. It was definitely one of the highlights of the night.
Would you share a memorable moment?
Marrying the man of my dreams, my best friend!!
And, my niece, who was my flower girl, danced the entire night, literally. She never once sat down.
